Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
How do I make a photo black and white?
Choose the Black & white filter and click Apply. It uses the same brightness weighting as web browsers, so skin tones and skies keep natural contrast. Noir gives a punchier, high-contrast black and white.
Will the preview match the downloaded photo?
Yes. The preview and the final image use exactly the same colour maths, so what you see is what you get, just at full size.
Does applying a filter reduce quality?
The photo is saved once with your filter. JPG and WebP use quality 92 by default, which looks identical to the eye. Choose PNG if you need a lossless file.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 50 images at once and 50 MB per file. Very large images (over 100 megapixels, or 60 on iPhone and iPad) are refused with a clear message so your browser doesn't run out of memory.
