Which codes can it read?
QR codes, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, MaxiCode, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar, ITF and DataBar, using the open-source ZXing-C++ decoder.
Is it safe to open a scanned link?
QR codes are a common way to hide phishing links, so the full address is shown before you open it. Only web links can be opened from here, and they open in a new tab.
