Questions
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type or open is uploaded, logged or saved. Your settings are remembered on this device; your text isn't.
Is the exported HTML safe to paste into a site?
The HTML is cleaned with DOMPurify, which removes scripts, event handlers, styles and other code that could run in a page. Links open in a new tab with rel="noopener noreferrer".
Why don't images from other sites show?
Loading them would tell those sites that you opened this page, so the preview only shows images embedded in the text. They are kept in the exported HTML.
