Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
How are similar images found?
Each image gets a fingerprint of its brightness pattern (a difference hash), which barely changes when an image is resized, recompressed or lightly edited. Images whose fingerprints are close are grouped. Exact copies are matched by a SHA-256 checksum of the file.
Will it delete files from my computer?
No. A browser can't delete your files. Download the images you keep as a ZIP, or the CSV report, and tidy up the folder yourself.
