MP3 Cutter and Audio Trimmer
See the waveform, pick the part you want, add a fade in or out, and save the clip. Your audio never leaves the browser.
Files stay on your device
How it works
- 1Add audioDrop an MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC file up to 30 minutes long.
- 2Trim or fix the volumeSet the start and end and add fades, or open Volume and normalize to make it louder, quieter or evenly loud.
- 3Save the clipListen first, then download a WAV at the original quality. The other tab keeps the same file.
Questions
Is my audio uploaded?
No. The file is decoded and processed by your browser, so the sound never leaves your device.
Peak or loudness normalization?
Peak normalization raises the volume until the loudest moment reaches the target, so nothing clips. Loudness normalization matches the average level, which makes several files sound equally loud, but loud moments may clip; the tool warns you when they would.
Which formats work?
Whatever your browser can play: MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus and FLAC work in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Files are saved as WAV, which every editor and player opens, because browsers can't write MP3. WAV, FLAC and MP3 keep their sample rate; other formats are read at 48 kHz. Files up to 30 minutes work here.
